Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will visit an Insurance Camp in Buncombe County on Thursday as the Department of Insurance continues its efforts to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

The Insurance Camp will be set up at Lowe’s Home Improvement, 19 McKenna Road, Arden, N.C. 28704 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Commissioner Causey plans to be on site at the Insurance Camp at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

“These Insurance Camps will allow victims of this devastating storm to talk directly with their insurance companies about their losses,” Commissioner Causey said. “I want to thank these insurance companies and government agencies for coming together to assist our western North Carolina residents who have been devastated by Hurricane Helene.

Fourteen insurance companies, including many of North Carolina’s largest insurance companies, have come out to the Insurance Camps to assist their clients with their claims.
