Bradley Honored by State Fire Marshal for Service to North Carolina

Insurance Commissioner and State Fire Marshal Mike Causey today honored Tim Bradley for 18 years of service on the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors.

The award was presented to Bradley by Assistant State Fire Marshal Brian Taylor, on behalf of Causey, at the quarterly meeting the morning of June 15, 2017.

"Tim Bradley's service to the people of North Carolina and his dedication to electrical and fire safety are tremendous," said Causey. "He is a model of what a public servant should be and we thank him."

Bradley's service on the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors started in 1999, when he worked for the Department of Insurance as the Senior Deputy Commissioner of Insurance in charge of the Office of State Fire Marshal. Bradley is a volunteer firefighter, an elected City Council member in Mebane, a Deacon at his church and the Executive Director of the North Carolina State Firefighter's Association (NCSFA).

The North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors mission is to protect the life, health and property of the public through examination of applicants, education of licensees and discipline of individuals to promote quality electrical contracting in accordance with North Carolina general statutes.
