Fraud Town Hall
TIME: 2pm
Residents of Elizabeth City and surrounding communities are invited to join the discussion on insurance fraud – what it is, how it affects you, how to report it and how to avoid becoming a victim.
The NC Commissioner of Insurance will be on hand, along with experts from the NCDOI Fraud Control Group, Criminal Investigations Division, local law enforcement agencies, SHIIP Senior Medicare Patrol, and other community officials
Free Shred-A-Thon
TIME: 1-4pm
- Limit of 1-2 household size trash bags (13 gallon) to be shredded per person.
- Free home shredders to be given away as door prizes!
